Business protection

Specialist business protection advice through PIB Employee Benefits.

The death or serious illness of a director, shareholder, partner or other key individual can have a significant impact on a business. Appropriate protection arrangements can help a business plan for those risks.

How HQ Law can help

An introduction to specialist business-protection advice.

HQ Law Ltd does not provide financial or insurance advice. Where appropriate, however, we can introduce clients to PIB Employee Benefits, which can provide specialist advice on business protection.

PIB can advise on matters including:

  • key person protection;
  • shareholder protection;
  • partnership protection;
  • relevant life cover; and
  • other business protection arrangements.

Your choice

You are under no obligation to use PIB Employee Benefits and you are free to obtain advice from another provider. An introduction will only be made if you ask us to do so.

No automatic sharing of legal information

Requesting an introduction does not authorise HQ Law to disclose confidential information about your legal affairs. If further information is required, we will confirm with you what may be shared.

Referral arrangement

Our referral arrangement with PIB.

If HQ Law introduces you to PIB Employee Benefits and you subsequently arrange insurance through PIB, HQ Law Ltd may receive a referral payment or share of commission from PIB.

The amount can vary depending on the insurance arranged and may be significant. Where the amount, or the basis on which it is calculated, is known to us, we will explain this to you before the introduction is made.

Before passing your details to PIB, we will ask for your informed consent to the introduction and to HQ Law retaining any referral payment or commission payable to us.

You will not pay HQ Law an additional fee simply for making the introduction.

Important: You are free to use another provider. The introduction is optional and is separate from HQ Law's legal services.
Request an introduction

Ask HQ Law to contact you about an introduction.

Complete the form and we will contact you about the introduction process before any details are passed to PIB.

This form is for a business-protection introduction, not for sending substantive confidential legal instructions.

Submitting this form does not itself authorise HQ Law to disclose confidential information about your legal affairs.
